The Coronation of King Charles III
The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort
will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May, 2023.
The Coronation is a great opportunity to come together as a nation and as communities across the country to celebrate and mark this special occasion in the life of our country.
Hailsham Parish Church would therefore like to extend a warm invitation to our local community to join us to celebrate this historic occasion.
Friday 5th May, 5pm
A Special Civic Service of Thanksgiving – A special service for Hailsham Community to join together to mark the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III – All are welcome.
Refreshments will be served following the service.
Saturday 6th May, 11am
Coronation Service from Wetsminster Abbey.
The church building will be open to show the Coronation Service
as it is broadcast on the BBC (on the big screens)
All are invited to attend to watch together
Sunday 7th May, 10.30am
All Age Morning Service
A service of celebration and thanksgiving, suitable for all the family
