ISSUES – Informal Evening Service

with an extended focus on a key issue for today.

There are many issues in life with which we struggle, often troubling situations and we’re not sure how we should respond as Christians.

Every 3 or 4 months we’ll be devoting  Sundays @ 6.30pm to tackle some of those issues. The style for this service will be different – informal, with refreshments as we go, but wanting to get to grips with what the Bible has to say in challenging times

Most Recent Event – Sunday 10th November

Helen Thorne (Training Director: London City Mission) was speaking on
When Times are Dark – Living with Depression and Anxiety
Anxiety and Depression are difficult to deal with and they have a personal impact so many of us today. However, we have a loving and compassionate God, who cares for each one us – both those who are struggling and others who stand beside friends/relatives who are battling against depression or anxiety. This session was an opportunity to find out a little more of how we can be encouraged (or encourage others) when times are dark or overwhelming…

If you missed this service you can listen to the Recording and also look through Helen’s very helpful Anxiety and Depression presentation handout!
