Sunday Groups
Children’s groups meet in the Church lounge during part of every Sunday Morning Service – apart from the first Sunday of every month when we have an “All-Age” Service.
These groups are led by a team of volunteers from the Church, who all have enhanced DBS clearance.
A supervised creche (Little Diggers) is held every week during the morning service.

Little Diggers (supervised creche for pre-schoolers)
Little diggers serves the parents of the youngest in the church by allowing them to hear the Word of God without interruption and distraction whilst knowing their children are safe. It also serves the babies and young children themselves, by providing them with a secure and fun place for them to play and begin their journey within the church family. Each session includes a short Bible story as well as plenty of time to explore the toys!
Seekers (reception – year 2)
In Seekers the children learn about Jesus through stories from the Bible, crafts, games and more!
Discoverers (years 3–6)
In Discoverers the group leaders aim to teach the children about the Kingdom of God and how to follow in the ways of Jesus, in a way that they can understand and relate to. Using a range of activities, the children have fun exploring the Bible together.
ABC Playgroup
We meet every Thursday during school term time from 9.30-11.30am in both the main church and church lounge.
There are lots of toys and fun activities including playdough, sand tray, ball pool, painting and a craft activity linked to the story time. There is coffee and tea available for parents from 9.30-10.30am, followed by a drink and snack for the children at 10.45am before a song and story time. Parents and Carers are encouraged to join in with the children and to make new friends.
ABC Playgroup is run by a team of volunteers, all with enhanced DBS clearance, from Hailsham Parish Church. We believe that the good news of Jesus that we find in the Bible is for everyone. If you have any questions or would like to find out more please come along and ask any of the team (who have badges on).
Have a look at our recent events page to see what we got up at the Easter Party!
We meet regularly to pray for the group. Please do let us know if you have anything or anyone that you would like us to pray for.
