Families Together for Jesus
Families Together for Jesus
As our Sunday Groups cannot meet together at present, here at HPC we have introduced a new Family Service on a Sunday Morning “Families Together for Jesus”
This is an All Age / Family Service at 10.30am on Sunday Mornings which runs alongside the Morning Service to replace our regular Sunday School groups
However, in light of the rising COVID infection rates in our town we have had to move Families Together for Jesus online during January – for details of how to join please email Lyn – email@example.com
Little Diggers (supervised creche for pre-schoolers)
Little diggers serves the parents of the youngest in the church by allowing them to hear the Word of God without interruption and distraction whilst knowing their children are safe. It also serves the babies and young children themselves, by providing them with a secure and fun place for them to play and begin their journey within the church family. Each session begins with a short Bible story and fun activity followed by plenty of time to explore the toys!
Seekers (reception – year 2)
In Seekers the children learn about Jesus through stories from the Bible, crafts, games and more!
Discoverers (years 3–6)
In Discoverers the group leaders aim to teach the children about the Kingdom of God and how to follow in the ways of Jesus, in a way that they can understand and relate to. Using a range of activities, the children have fun exploring the Bible together.
We meet every Thursday during school term time from 9.30-11.30am in the church lounge.
There are lots of toys and also painting, playdough, and a craft activity. There is coffee and tea available for parents from 9.30-10.30am, followed by a drink and snack for the children at 10.45am before a song and story time. Parents and Carers are encouraged to join in with the children and to make new friends.
ABC Playgroup is run by a team of volunteers, all with enhanced DBS clearance, from Hailsham Parish Church. We believe that the good news of Jesus that we find in the Bible is for everyone. If you have any questions or would like to find out more please come along and ask any of the team (who have badges on).
Have a look at our recent events page to see what we got up at the Easter Party!
We meet regularly to pray for the group. Please do let us know if you have anything or anyone that you would like us to pray for.

Each year we have two holiday clubs for primary school age children: Easter Explorers and the HPC Summer Holiday Club.
The large team of leaders, who look after the children, help them to learn about God whilst having lots of fun. Activities include crazy games, craft, music, dramas, bible story, team challenges and much, much more!
Our most recent Holiday Club, had a slightly different format –
2020 Summer Big Top Holiday Club
A fun-packed VIRTUAL holiday club for primary school children.
Tuesday 25th – Friday 28th August
Each day children were able to access a video, which included songs, drama, Bible stories, crafts, whacky challenges and more!

Children can participate by singing, playing an instrument they’re learning or playing one of our items of percussion. Most junior band sessions are linked to the 10.30 Service the following morning, in which the band lead the all-age song they’ve practised.
